finding the name of the gorgeous flower

I got to Winghaven's Plant Sale
today. It is a 3 acre garden of a
husband and wife. Here are some
photos from a friend's blog of a
wedding there. Here are some flowers
we saw today. Do you know what
they are ? I think they have gotten on
my list of most beautiful creations of
our God!

They were out of the blue so I had to
buy the red.

The red ones look like columbine. They grow well up here and we have them in our garden! Love the purple!

s1NbenBonnie,you have gotten yourself a columbine; they are wonderful perennials that will reward you with years of delicate blooms. The blue are gorgeous; there are also yellow and mixed color variations as well.

we found out it was Columbine when we got to the plant sale. Hope they like the warmer weather here! But they were prolific in the rose garden. You both live in cooler climates ....hmmmm............
yes, the blue was gorgeous. It made you stop and SEE them. You know like a sunset or a fabulous dress!

Hi Bonnie...

Ohh...I think these beautiful flowers are Columbines! They are our (Colorado's) state flower! Aren't they pretty?

My friend, I wanted to come by to say thank you for stopping in and helping me celebrate my Sunday Favorites "One Year" birthday! I enjoyed your visit and sweet note full of well wishes! Thank you!!!

Have a fabulous day and best wishes with the gift card giveaway!
