Caught Billie Collins and Donald
Hall , two poets and Poet Laureates,
this morning on Diane Rhem. ( NPR)
I have Hall's book "Unpacking the Boxes"
on hold at the library.
Collins new book in 3 years ....hmmm.......
need to see what that is about. Ballistics.
Just put that on HOLD.
Not sure what I think of the title.

Who is the Poet Laureate today?

Charles Simic, the fifteenth Poet Laureate
of the United States (2007-2008), was born
in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, in 1938, and immigrated
to the United States in 1953, at the age of 15.

Excellent painting in your header! Oh, and speaking of poet laureates....have you heard of Ted Kooser? He had that distinction a few years back.

He's pure Americana. You'd appreciate him, I'm sure.
