I just signed up for a pairing of handwritten letters writers from the UK' Silver
Pebble. I think it is more than penpals. I did this once with Tonia at STUDY in BROWN and am still writing back and forth to Gilmer, Texas with this friend. You become friends
and the gift in the mail always makes my day.
Reminds me of Podso's post on MAIL.

For the last two years, I have sent handwritten cards, once a year (in addition to handmade Christmas cards)to about six or seven of my good friends, most of whom do not live close to me. I know everyone is busy, but a feminine piece of mail is very cheering. One of these dear friends, a young homeschooling mom with many littles, wrote a newsy little letter back on notebook paper. It was the first time I remember seeing her lovely handwriting. It's been on my list to send out another round of pretty cards.
If you are looking for a pen pal, I would gladly send you my mailing address, on an envelope of course! :)
Oh Heather-- you made my day

I'm so glad! I will be in touch soon.
It's been quite awhile since I've been to your blog. I am reminded, once again, how beautiful it is. Thanks for keeping it going. It soothes my soul.
You can see more of what I am up to.. Gail!
