Twelve branches! There must be a huge library system in Charlotte. Here in Long Beach we have about 12 branches total in a city of nearly half a million.
Do you know...a few years ago, a handful of our libraries were earmarked for closing and with many letters to the City Council, they were saved. Great news since 2 of my favorites were on the list.

I wonder which ones and if they will just freeze them as they are until they can open them again. And even sadder, 140 pink slips.
