My friend Jeannette was reading this
book about this painting by Delacroix
while we were at a recent conference.
Finished it up in the beach house not
on the beach last week. Library book.
It didn't need wind and sand.
The author is in search for the meaning
of the painting and writes this
as a memoir. Great painting to
study as in Picture Study.
